Banned Books Week

This week is Banned Books Week, an event founded in 1982 by the American Library Association.  The basic idea behind this is to remind us not to take for granted the freedom to read. 

The ALA put together a list of the most frequently challenged books of 2007, listed here. Also, here's a list of the most frequently challenged books from 1990 to 2000. 

It gives me great honor to say that I've had the opportunity to work at agencies and at times help represent the rights to a number of these books and authors, including:
