Holy Crap

Wow...this has been an interesting week. To distract ourselves from the complete wall of silence awaiting us  in our inbox, we decided to enter a contest. We honestly weren't expecting anything to come out of it, except maybe a few pointers on why we suck.

And then on Monday we checked the blog to find out...

We Got a Request!

That's us! #19! Real, live literary agent Hannah Bowman from NY agency Liza Dawson Associates read our stuff, and again, not only DIDN'T die of boredom, but actually requested us!

And just as importantly, we made a whole bunch of new writer-friends in the process. As we go through this journey, we are always amazed by how awesome and supportive the writing community is, and we always love finding new like-minded people to share this long arduous journey with. So if you're out there, a big WHATUP to Christina, Dahlia, and Amanda (our awesome new CP)! Huge PROPS to Krista van Dozler for hosting the contest, and of course to Ms.Bowman for COMPLETELY making our week!
