She finds some shells in the water but a shark comes by and tries to eat her. She loses the shells and struggles to get back up to the surface of the ocean. Once she is safely out of the water, she meets a stranger and tells him how she lost her shells. This man gives her a handful of similar shells. They fall in love. Is this the end of their story? Read to find out. I liked the comics but didn’t like the story at all. The illustrations were good. I wouldn’t really recommend it to anyone. Elementary. OPTIONAL. Student Reviewed: JL- age 9.
