WGA Strike Update

Reports are saying that the writers and producers will be sitting down next week to continue negotiations. Two interesting things of note in this regard. First, both sides will try to impose a "news blackout" to avoid fighting the issues in the press. Second, this breakthrough came as a result of negotiations by key agents at the big five agencies (CAA, ICM, Endeavor, WMA, and UTA) and the top execs handling the talks for the producers.

On a different front, most of the below-the-line production staff at "Saturday Night Life" was fired on Friday by NBC. Fall out indeed.
