Springer, Nancy My Sister’s Stalker, 93 p. Holiday House, 2012. $17. Content: PG (creepy, not graphic).
When Rig googles his sister’s name just for fun, he finds the usually stuff – until he sees a stranger’s page and it looks like this mysterious person is obsessed with Karma. When his mother dismisses it as romantic, he contacts his estranged father – and the two of them fly to Karma’s college to alert her to the danger, especially as the website suddenly takes a darker turn. This book will either send you to the internet to google your own loved ones, or it may make you swear off computers forever. Springer brings in just the right amount of creepiness to scare you. This is a short, tight read.
