This is a collection of 30 poems about everything that is remotely scary from werewolves, child eating monsters, ghosts, spooky animals, zombies, and children who have disappeared. Each page features a dark illustration.

This book has some incredibly disturbing illustrations; there were a couple that I will probably have nightmares about. I didn't care much for the poetry, it simply skimmed over a wide variety of creepy subjects. Although we have some popular ‘creepy’ poetry books, I need a bit more of a continuous story to carry me through. Too scary for Elementary, but not enough story for older students.
