The first time we met Nina was at The Accidental Werewolf, and she was the toughest girl I have ever known. Of course, she doesn't know how to be a vampire, and the firsts chapters are all about her dealing with her inner-vampire and whining. I wished there was more action, but it was at the middle of the book that I started to get it.

Gregori is hot, funny and a vampire. He turned Nina by accident, and now he has to deal with her. He doesn't like her at all, and I liked that, because it was different from the usual. He hated her foul-mouth and her attitude, but he feels responsible of her. Of course she doesn't want his help, and their relationship was very difficult to start (several chapters). They obviously started to like each other, but both were so stubborn. That made the romance it this book slower, but don't get me wrong, it was still hot, and they do get their "happily ever after".

I loved that we could read more about the characters from The Accidental Werewolf, because I really wanted to know more about them. Marty and Wanda appeared in the book several times, and they kind of made Nina think about her actions. Their relationship is very cool, because even when they're fighting all the time, you know they're going to stick together and help themselves no matter what.

The author manages, again, to write funny characters and fill the book with female thoughts and sarcastic jokes that will make you laugh, because seriously, sometimes I have just had the same thoughts!

Overall, it's a light, funny and very enjoyable read. I'm glad I read it, and I'm sure I'll continue reading this series when I need to laugh.

Marty is 30, selling Bobbie-Sue Cosmetics door to door. She's workaholic and "happy". Her life is just about color-wheels and her poodle, Muffin. But then something weird happens, a dog - a big dog- bite her! And that's it. Her life (and her color-wheel) is changed and she isn't ready for that.

Marty is sooo funny. OMG, I was laughing all the time with her. She didn't want to accept that her body changes weren't "normal"....nobody grows more hair in her legs because of a dog-bite! She's successful, which I liked, and she doesn't need anyone. Except that when she meet Keenan, in a human form, she just can't keep her hands off him.

Ok...Keegan is hot. Very hot! He is the typical alpha-male, but with a very sweet side. He was so cute when dealing with Muffin, the poodle princess. He's really charming when he wants to be. Sometimes I didn't like his alpha personality, he just wanted Marty to do what he said and no buts. Of course Marty is very independent...so you can have an idea of where this is going.

The plot: werewolf bite, then turning into one, isn't exactly original, but the author manages to make it interesting with all the pack's secrets and Keegan's family. Besides the werewolf plot, there is another one including Marty and her "family" which I wasn't expecting but liked it.

It has a predictable happy ending, but it was extremely entertaining to read it and I never stopped laughing. The writing was light, and I felt as if the characters were real. They make mistakes, have strong personalities and talked as any of us.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who needs to laugh.
